Coach Peter Ogeya
Former Kenyan International Boxer · 20+ years coaching
In 2005, Peter Ogeya stepped into St Mary's Catholic Church Hall with three young boxers and a vision. Twenty years later, ORTBC has grown to 60+ active members, produces 10 of the 12 fighters on the Kajiado County team, and competes nationally as an independent club.
Coach Ogeya leads ORTBC as both Sports Director and Head Coach — shaping fighters in the ring and rescuing youth from crime, drugs, and substance abuse outside it.

Henry Mwangi
One of the original co-founders of ORTBC, known as 'Hechii'. Henry has been with the club since its earliest days and provides leadership and direction for the club's management and growth.
Mercy
As Patron, Mercy provides guidance and patronage to the club, supporting its mission and representing ORTBC in community and official engagements.
Peter Ogeya
The founder of ORTBC and a former Kenyan International Boxer. Coach Ogeya is the visionary who started the club in 2005 with just 3 boxers and serves as both Sports Director and Head Coach.
Eunice
Handles the club's administrative affairs, record keeping, correspondence, and ensures smooth organizational operations.
Tenai
Manages the club's finances, budgeting, and financial planning — ensuring resources are allocated effectively for training and competitions.
Laurence
Supports the Secretary in administrative duties and helps coordinate club activities and communications.
Technical Team
The coaches, medical staff, and advisors who train champions and ensure the well-being of every boxer at ORTBC.

Former Kenyan International Boxer and founder of ORTBC. Coach Ogeya has spent 20 years developing boxing talent in Ongata Rongai. His coaching has produced Kajiado County champions and national-level contenders.
Ramadhan Wire
Assistant Coach — Nutrition
Nutrition & Fighter Conditioning
Coach Wire specializes in nutrition and body conditioning, ensuring fighters are in optimal physical shape for training and competition. His expertise in diet and recovery is vital to fighter performance.
Gitau
Assistant Coach — Training
Technical Training & Drills
Coach Gitau leads day-to-day technical training sessions, focusing on skill development, drills, and sparring preparation. He works closely with boxers at all levels to sharpen their technique.
Evans Mugone (Jemo)
Competition Secretary
Competition Logistics & Fight Preparation
One of the original supporting staff from ORTBC's founding days. Jemo handles all competition registrations, logistics, and coordinates fight preparations for bouts and tournaments.

Counselling Department Head
Counselling & Mental Wellness
Teacher Rebecca leads the counselling department, providing mental health support, guidance, and mentorship to boxers — many of whom are students navigating life challenges alongside their training.
Lawrence Obwocha
Team Doctor
Medical Support & Injury Management
Dr. Obwocha provides medical oversight for the club, handling injury prevention, treatment, fight-night medical support, and ensuring boxers are medically cleared for competition.
Jonte Nyongesa

Jonte serves as the club's technical advisor, providing strategic guidance on training methods, competition strategy, and the overall technical direction of ORTBC's boxing program.

As Team Captain, Boniface leads by example in the gym and in competition. He serves as the bridge between the coaching staff and the boxers, motivating and organizing the fighters.
